Sensei Mark Whitmore
Over the weekend of the 7th & 8th November 2009, a number of Idokan's senior students and black belts spent the weekend in Merrijig, sweating it out in preparation for the upcoming end of year gradings.
Under the watchful eye of Renshi Kevin training began early and finished late. The camp allowed students to immerse themselves in their art and to spend time polishing the many little details required to take their performance to the next level. It was pleasing to see the effort that all students who attended put in. The training was hard, requiring both physical and mental focus.
All students showed enormous endeavour and worked hard to get the most out of their time on the mat. In particular it was extremely pleasing to see the teenage students maintain the consistency of their effort throughout the gruelling weekend.
A big thanks to all the Black Belts who gave up their weekend to attend and to all the guys who helped out by bring up the mats.

Train hard
