During the period of February to beginning of April we had the pleasure of an overseas student training with us.
Her name was Xenia Hart, staying with her close friend Josie and family whilst in Australia. She normally trains Judo in Frankfurt Germany where she also lives. She trained twice a week whilst in Australia and successfully achieved her 5th kyu grading before leaving. Thanks Xenia for spending your time with us and leaving lots of good memories.

First time for everything. This time we participated in the parade. We handed out lollies, looked good and spoke to the wall of people lined up in the streets. Wendy and Jack was interviewed by the commentators, Tom was dressed as a Ninja doing rolls/flips throughout, Daniel & I struggled with the banner whilst Jordan, Josie, Marcus, Xenia & Jackson joined the festivities.
